Miss Dover Town 2024 is Star Mchugh
The Court of Dover Town Carnival was crowned in February at the St Radigunds Community Centre
Miss Dover Town 2024 is Star Mchugh, who will be representing Dover at various carnivals and other events in and around Kent this year.
Crowned alongside Star were her Senior Princesses Jazmin and Hannah, as well as our Junior Miss Dover Town, Lucia, and her Junior Princesses Millie & Everleigh
The chosen charity this year is the Kelly Turner Foundation!
Kelly Turner was our Honorary Princess of 2016.The Kelly Turner Foundation aims to raise £1 million for research into Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour (DSRCT) – a particularly aggressive type of sarcoma that occurs mostly in adolescent and young people. The foundation was set up by Martin and Linda Turner, in memory of their daughter Kelly who died of DSRCT in 2017, aged 17. Through their remarkable efforts, they have already raised over £600,000 towards our research to improve the outlook for patients with this cancer. On our Carnival day in 2022 we raised over £200 for the Kelly Turner Foundation.
